Open to all CLRA members, old, young, fast, slow, in your own boat, or in a club boat. [As usual, club boats are only available to certified scullers.] Slowest rowers get the biggest head start so all rowers finish at roughly the same time. To accommodate all scullers, we will have two heats this year if necessary. Launch by 12:30 for a 1:00 PM start of the first heat (or an hour later if we need only one heat). The race is from the finish line near the dam to the stone bridge, approximately 3 miles. Please email David Husel by September 26 if you want to enter. If you want a club boat say which one(s) you prefer. If you want a double partner, say so and he will try to make matches if possible. |
