A completed Membership Application form must include:
1. A signed Release of Liability
2. A check for the proper amount
3. Evidence of a completed required 10-minute stay-afloat swim test or a current Red Cross certificate

Membership for non-rowing members, experienced rowers and coxswains are accepted throughout the year.  Once you have completed the application process, including the required swim test, you may participate in club activities.

Rowing seat fees are assessed for all on-the-water sessions and all indoor sessions. Monthly invoices are sent to each member incurring charges or making payments.  All balances must be paid before the following month's invoice or there will be a $5 late fee.  All members are encouraged to keep a positive balance in their account.  Members will not be allowed to row if they have a late balance due.

Membership Benefits
All members receive the annual Members Guide, a Membership Directory, a Coxes' Manual and the newsletter, Carnegie Currents. They are also entitled to use the LakerLibrary, to purchase club merchandise from the LakerLocker and to attend members' meetings and social functions.

US RowingCarnegie Lake Rowing Association endorses membership in USRowing, the sport’s national governing body. Join USRowing online www.usrowing.org. The Carnegie Lake Rowing Association’s club commercial liability insurance no longer is extended to our members. Members may obtain $2,000,000 per occurrence of individual commercial liability insurance and $25,000 of excess accident medical coverage by joining USRowing.
