You and your varsity crews are invited to the 2007 PRINCETON 3-MILE CHASE
In response to the lack of racing for the experienced freshmen at the Head of the Charles Regatta we will allow selected teams to enter a Freshman 8+ in the Men's Heavyweight 8+ and the Men's Lightweight 8+ events at the Princeton 3-Mile Chase this year. The parameters for having a Freshmen 8+ are as follows:
Teams must be invited to enter a Freshmen 8+
Cannot result in an additional trailer coming to the event
All freshmen boats will be entered as a ‘C’ boat If you have a Third Varsity 8+ and a Freshmen 8+; the Third Varsity 8+ will be a ‘D’ boat If you do not have a Freshmen 8+ but you do have a Third Varsity 8+; it will be entered as a ‘C’ boat.
As in the past, we plan to make this regatta easy and economical for you. This is a great opportunity for you to put together several boatings without the restrictions required by other fall regattas. The volunteer members of the Carnegie Lake Rowing Association will be helping the Princeton University coaching staff by organizing and operating the regatta.
• Collegiate entries only (including the small boat event) • Entry fee: $5.00 per athlete, regardless of number of races. Entry fee increase is due to increased cost of timing function. • Mugs to winning crews • Computer timed; results available immediately • Entry closing date: Friday October 19th
